November Dinner 2017

The clubs event in November will see another first  for the Shanghailanders with the visit to the recently opened Le Comptoir de Pierre Gagnaire, at the Capella hotel on Jianguo Xi Lu.

Le Comptoir de Pierre Gagnaire, serves French cuisine with a contemporary twist, cooked by Gagnaire’s protégé Romain Chapel, son of the legendary French chef Alain Chapel, who is working on a unique seasonal mouth-watering menu for the clubs dinner.

The dinner will be on Friday November 17, 2017

October Dinner 2017

The clubs event in October will be at Gusto Bistro lead by Chef and owner Ewald Poersch who has spent 20 years in various European countries and has gained high experience in 5-star-cuisine.

Ewald personally ensures the high quality and authenticity of each single dish from his kitchen. He is also a professional sommelier and offers a wide range of splendid wines.

Acqua is an elegant and stylish restaurant with an interior design that takes full advantage of the stunning views of Shanghai. The club’s food and wine masters are working with the chef on capturing the essence of the Italian spirit through their food.

Styled like a private residence, the Kee club provides an intimate and stimulating environment for its members to indulge in life’s finest pleasure – art, food, wine, music, design and people. Occupying a prestigious heritage address, KEE forms part of the Richemont Group’s luxury lifestyle destination. Housed in twin 1920’s stone villas.

The clubs event in June will be a Long Lunch at Mandarin Oriental’s Fifty 8º Grill

The Fifty 8º Grill is a Modern French  restaurant by Mandarin Oriental’s Michelin-starred chef Richard Ekkebus. Cuisine is largely French fundamentals — classic recipes done with top quality ingredients and simple presentations.

The clubs food and wine masters are working with restaurant on preparing a classical dining experience for members.

The club is delighted to advise, that the Shanghailanders have been able to once again secure the much sought after Villa Le Bec as the venue for the clubs dinner on Friday March 17, 2017.

The event is a Shanghailanders MEMBERS only dinner, and limited to 20 persons, members will be dinning in the private Buddha Room of Villa Le Bec, with pre-dinner cocktails taken in the garden.
